The boys and girls enjoyed using their five senses to explore the indoor and outdoor school environment. We carried out an experiment using popcorn and tapped into all five senses. The children listened to the popcorn popping in the microwave and noted that it smelled ‘toasty’, looked like ‘clouds’, tasted ‘salty’ and felt ‘rough and chewy’. I think they enjoyed exploring their sense of taste the most!
