It was a bumper week for certificates, medals and trophies for pupils at St Peter’s NS Dromiskin. Comhghairdeas to all the participants at Feis Mhuitheimthne which took place in the Friary Hall, Dundalk. This was a wonderful experience for the children to get up on stage, chase their butterflies away and recite their Irish poems so eloquently. We are so proud of your achievement.
Comhghairdeas to the Irish Dancer and Ballet Dancer for excelling in their recent competitions and coming away with plenty of medals and silverware.
Dynamites Basketball Club held their awards ceremony in The Joes’ Clubrooms recently. The girls at St Peter’s were especially delighted to let us know that the Girls Under 12s Team was the Basket League Winner. We also saw trophies for the Most Valuable Player, the Best Offensive and Defensive Players and Most Improved Players.
Finally our 6th class Irish Quiz team came runners-up in the Tráth na gCeist Quiz in the Friary Hall recently. Bhain siad an-sult as an ocáid agus tá súil againn go leanfaidh siad ar aghaidh lena n-iarracht ar eolas.
