Outdoor Classroom 20th March Andy Booth
Andy Booth from Outdoor Classroom.ie installed our beautiful Seomra Glas beside the Infants playpen. It has seating, a table and a blackboard surrounded by fruit trees (apple and plum), shrubs and a variety of flowers. These were chosen by a great friend of the school, Dr. Pamela Whitaker, from Groundswell and planted by senior pupils in the school. It is hoped that these plants will attract all sorts of insects and butterflies for our boys and girls to study. A nesting box with a webcam inside is also supplied. This will link to a computer in one of the classrooms and should be a fascinating experiment. Andy Booth can currently be seen on RTE’s Super Garden.
