Ms Larney’s 3rd class were busy making their St. Brigid’s Crosses in preparation for St Brigid’s Day on 1st February 2017. Children from all over the school brought in reeds and Ms Larney along with Mr Hamilton showed lots of children the ancient skill of cross making. The crosses will be blessed by Fr Mc Enroe at a special mass on the saint’s feast day. Mr Hamilton also made crosses with children from all the other classes. Click HERE for more pictures.
