Congratulations to 6th class and all who took part in the Public Speaking competition this year. Well done to the eight finalists who entertained and informed the whole school via Google Meet on Wednesday 23rd June. The topics included their time spent in St. Peter’s, what the future will look like, favourite singers, their families and how you learn everything you need to know in Junior Infants!
Ms Boyle was the adjudicator and she had a very difficult job to pick out winners owing to the very high standard this year. Our overall winner did a wonderful job of recounting his time in St. Peter’s.
All the finalists received a special certificate from Ms Boyle and winner and runners up received lovely trophies. Special praise goes to Ms Keane who gave lots of excellent tips on public speaking to all her young students throughout their preparation for the final.
