Congratulations to the boys and girls from 3rd, 4th and 5th classes who participated in the Peace Proms Concert in Belfast on Sunday 25th February. St Peter’s NS Choir has a long tradition of attending this annual event and their performance with over 2,000 children from schools across Ulster and North Leinster was inspiring. This year was extra special as the children from 3rd and 4th class took to the stage to play their violins for the Brave song. They practise for four hours a week with their teacher, Róisín Morrow as part of the Dynamic Strings programme. They have worked since September on preparing for this moment and it was truly memorable.
Thank you to all the staff, families and friends in our school community who supported all these children on their musical journey. We were so proud of them taking to the stage with confidence and enthusiasm and performing for over 8,000 people in the SSE Odyssey Arena.
