Green Schools Initiative: Dromiskin Clean-Up

On Tuesday 28th April, boys and girls from 5th and 6th class took part in a fantastic clean-up around the village of Dromiskin as part of the Green Schools Initiative.

Blessed with wonderful dry weather, the day was full of energy, laughter, and plenty of chant and banter between the students and the Dromiskin Tidy Towns volunteers. Working in teams, the children were supervised by Mr Smyth, Mr McComish, Ms Lynch, and dedicated DTT volunteers as they filled recycle bags with bottles, plastics, and other litter.

It’s clear that Dromiskin is in safe hands when it comes to protecting the environment and preserving its beautiful natural spaces 🌍💚

A big thank you to Pat and the DTT committee for the well-deserved treats afterwards — a perfect way to round off a brilliant day! 👏
