Congratulations to the boys and girls of 6th class who were confirmed on Thursday 20th March at St Peter’s N.S. It was a wonderful occasion for families, staff and pupils to celebrate this milestone in their school life. We thank the celebrant, Fr Gerry Campbell and Darver/Dromiskin priest, Fr Pat McEnroe for a beautiful spiritual service. Your dedication to our spiritual journey is truly a blessing. The children have been guided throughout the year by their class teachers, Mr Daire Smyth and Mr David McComish. We appreciate the dedication of both teachers, and the children are a credit to you and your high expectations in how they conducted themselves thoughout the service.
Thank you to Ms Loughran, Ms Rodgers and the choir for enhancing the service with your beautiful music. Your voices added a special touch to this sacred celebration, making it even more memorable. It uplifted our hearts and filled the church with joy and celebration.
We would especially like to thank the NET team for their guidance, prayers, and inspiring words during their lessons in preparing the children for Confirmation.
To everyone who assisted in any way—sacristan, secretaries, staff members, parents and volunteers—thank you for your hard work and devotion. Your efforts helped create a truly blessed and seamless celebration. The Parents’ Council provided teas, coffees and treats for all the children and their families in St Peter’s School Hall. The icing on the cake was the fabulous sunny weather and enjoying our refreshments outdoors.
