St Peter’s NS Board of Management, staff and pupils send their very best wishes to the boys and girls of sixth class who are making their Confirmation tomorrow, Thursday 4th May. We look forward to this memorable moment in your life and we hope you have a wonderful day with your families and friends. I would like to acknowledge the great preparation you have made in order to receive the sacrament and I thank your class teacher, Mr Smyth and SNA, Anne for their guidance and dedication in bringing you on this journey.
The school choir has practised for many hours under the guidance of Ms Loughran and Ms Rodgers and your enthusiasm to give your best every time has been admirable. You will certainly add positively to the occasion. Well done.
A word of Thank You to Fr Pat McEnroe and Fr Gerry Campbell on providing pastoral care throughout the year to sixth class children. We look forward to welcoming Archbishop Eamon Martin to the Parish of Darver and Dromiskin.
Many thanks to the Parents’ Council, Dromiskin Tidy Towns Committee and volunteers who worked hard on sprucing up the school and church grounds in time for the big day. We are delighted to be back in action with refreshments in the school hall afterwards and we are indebted to the Parents’ Council for organising homemade goodies and treats for the children and their families.
