Cheers from the pupils at St Peter’s NS Dromiskin as they enjoyed their delicious hot chocolate and cookies on Pajama Day. All classes took time out to enjoy this treat which was kindly organised by the Wellbeing Committee as part of their Bí Cineálta programme. Santa’s elves ( Ms Moore and Ms Loughran) were busy in the kitchen preparing the tasty hot chocolate with plenty of mini marshmallows. Thank You to the Parents’ Council for approaching Wholey Cow Smyth’s Farm who kindly donated the milk for this event. It was a fun time out for children to relax in their comfy pjs, have a chat and take a moment to appreciate their friendships. Some classes also watched Christmas movies and cuddled their favourite teddies while others enjoyed the colouring page competition provided by Smyth’s Farm. We hear that a Family Fun Day has been organised for this Sunday, 22nd December at their farm and all are welcome to come along.
We ended the day with raising the Bí Cineálta Flag (Be Kind) and we hope children will continue to drink milk, hot or cold especially when we can source a ready supply local to Dromiskin.
