Christmas Message from the Principal
As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding school term, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the pupils, parents, families and friends of the Dromiskin community a very happy and peaceful Christmas.
This time of year invites us to pause and reflect on all that has been achieved. I am immensely proud of our pupils, who continue to show kindness, curiosity and resilience in their learning and in their friendships. Their enthusiasm and positivity bring life to our school each day.
I would also like to sincerely thank our parents and families for the ongoing support you give to the school. We are especially lucky to have a wonderful Parents’ Council who have been so busy this month. Our evening together for the Christmas Carol Service was highly successful, fundraising total was €2800 which will be used for a Family Fun Day to celebrate St Peter’s NS Golden Jubilee in 2026. Your encouragement, cooperation and involvement throughout the year make a real difference to the wellbeing and success of our children. The Parents’ Council also organised for a very special visitor to call on the day of the holidays. You can imagine the excitement and fun children had when Santa called to say how good the boys and girls are in Dromiskin. He had heard that their own fundraising, wearing Christmas jumpers for the final week, raised €773 for St Vincent De Paul Society.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh as ucht bhur dtacaíocht ar fad i rith na bliana.
A special word of thanks goes to our dedicated staff and to everyone in the wider Dromiskin community who supports our school in so many ways. Your commitment and generosity are deeply appreciated.
On behalf of everyone in the school, I wish you all a joyful Christmas filled with warmth, rest and special moments with family and friends, and a healthy, happy New Year. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new term.
Nollaig shona agus athbhliain faoi mhaise daoibh go léir.
