There was great excitement on Monday as we announced the winners of May Student of the Month and Gaeilgeoir na Míosa Bealtaine. It has been such a busy month with children working hard in their classes, growing vegetables for the school garden, replanting the herb garden and tending to summer bedding plants. Well done to the Green Schools Committee for encouraging children to be more aware of the Green FLag Global Citizenship Biodiversity Theme. Hopefully in June we will get to sample some of our freshly-grown vegetables. They have also encouraged children to walk, cycle and scoot to school safely. Thank you to the Students’ Council for promoting our Walk to School Week and organising a poster competition to promote the Parents’ Council Fundraiser 3km Walk.
