The 5th and 6th Class Spelling Bee finalists went head to head in the Halla on Friday 28th February. It was a gripping final that had us on the edge of our seats as the standard was very high among all the finalists. A huge thanks to both Mr Mc Comish and Ms Keane for preparing the finalists in the run up to today’s showdown. Mr Mc Comish was an excellent MC as usual and was on hand to make sure the final ran smoothly.
After several rounds we were left with two finalists, one from each class. It was extremely close but in the end there can be only one winner. The winning word was….. gigantic.
