Well done to children representing St Peter’s NS and Green Schools Committee for highlighting the great work in our school, promoting Green Schools Travel Challenge. Marissa at Dundalk FM talked with the children, Aoibheann Lynch-Principal and Sorcha Brophy- An Taisce about the health benefits of walking to and from school and our recent National Award for Travel School of Ireland 2019. Children are looking forward to spending €1000 win on PE equipment for the school. We thanked the Dromiskin Tidy Towns Committee for working with us on our walking challenge over ten days in February. We look forward to preparing the school grounds and village with colourful displays of flowers, plants and vegetables for the Grow Awards and Ecotribes competitions.
