We started the new year with a wonderful day to promote Healthy Eating for pupils and staff at St Peter’s NS. This was organised by the Parents’ Council and we were so thrilled to receive a colourful array of fruit and vegetables from Eamon and Jackie at Country Fresh. An army of volunteer parents spent an hour or so peeling, slicing and cutting fruit and vegetables before classes took turns to choose their healthy snack for lunch. We are so grateful to the Parents’ Council for continuing this tradition and we promise to choose healthier options as part of our New Year’s resolutions.
