Congratulations to St Peter’s NS Under 13 Quiz team on their excellent win in the Ardee Credit Union Quiz which took place at the Bohemian Centre, Ardee on Tuesday 31st January. John O’Brien, Taidhg Malone, Aoibhinn Boyle and Ryan Martin had worked hard on preparing for this event and their teamwork and extensive knowledge shone throughout the night. They led from the start and the excitement from all their supporting parents and friends was truly warranted when the trophy was raised for St Peter’s School, Dromiskin. It has been three years since the last Credit Union Quiz and we congratulate these children on maintaining the high standard of quiz interest at Dromiskin. The winning team will continue to the next round which takes place in Tullamore on the weekend of 3rd March. Ádh mór orthu.
We also congratulate our Under 11 team on their excellent performance and we acknowledge that their final score was only 3 points off the score of the winning team. Well done to Taylor Corrigan, Kayla Martin, Killian Hand and Meabh Mackin on their first venture at quizzing and no doubt we will see them again next year. Keep up the good work.
