We designed our spinners and were in charge of cutting the cardboard and putting it altogether! When our designs were finished we had the ultimate spinner battle in our groups until we finally found our Spinner Champ! We had lots of discussions about why some spinners could spin longer than others – the type of cardboard used and the size of coins made a huge difference. We also discovered that if we added some extra tape to the bottom they spun quicker and longer. Super Scientists and Engineers in First Class!
