Although we had very little time to explore the theme of Spring in school, we started on a high. There are so many opportunities to continue this at home in the back garden. Here’s a sneak peak of how we started our exploration in the Garden Centre.
The children had so much fun exploring “The Hospital” in February. Through role play, the children had the opportunity to be nurses, doctors, receptionists and patients. They really took their roles very serious! We made x-rays, built The Lourdes hospital with lego and made food for the hospital canteen using playdough. Here are some photographs.
January was a very exciting month in Senior Infants as we blasted off into Space! The children were so invested in this topic and we used this to integrate our learning through play, literacy, SESE and the Arts. Click here to see some photographs of the children in action.
