A big thank you to Fourth Class for promoting cycling safely with their excellent posters.
Ms Lynch visited all the classes this week to ensure all children know the following:
- Cycle Safe: Your bicycle should be roadworthy and the cyclist should always wear a helmet. It is also wise to use a hi-viz vest and have a bell and lights on your bicycle.
- Stay to the left of cars to save yourself from the scars.
- Don’t do a race cycle at a slow pace. Cycle in single file and slowly.
- Always preempt what might happen. Watch out for the other road users.
Thank you again to Fourth Class for all the wonderful posters. Have a look at a sample of their work here.
I wonder can anyone guess who owns the bicycle on the school corridor?
