Cycling Safely

A big thank you to Fourth Class for promoting cycling safely with their excellent posters.

Ms Lynch visited all the classes this week to ensure all children know the following:

  1. Cycle Safe: Your bicycle should be roadworthy and the cyclist should always wear a helmet. It is also wise to use a hi-viz vest and have a bell and lights on your bicycle.
  2. Stay to the left of cars to save yourself from the scars.
  3. Don’t do a race cycle at a slow pace. Cycle in single file and slowly.
  4. Always preempt what might happen. Watch out for the other road users.

Thank you again to Fourth Class for all the wonderful posters. Have a look at a sample of their work here.

I wonder can anyone guess who owns the bicycle on the school corridor?
