Engineering Week Activities PE (Basketball) Science Visit Seacthain na Gaeilge St Patrick’s Day
We really enjoyed the Bricks4Kidz workshop that was held during Engineering Week. We got to experiment with two different designs and we were amazed how the motors worked. We learned you have to follow the instructions really carefully or else the design wouldn’t work the way it should. It was great fun!

(Drama) A group of children from our class performed a wonderful adaptation of “The Wizard of Oz” in class. You can see photographs from the performance HERE.
(S.P.H.E.- Meditation) We have started weekly meditation sessions in our classroom. We have also started keeping a journal in our class. This details the work we will be doing during our meditation sessions and will also include other areas such as growth mindset. You can see photographs from our meditation HERE.
We are using Class Dojo in our classroom again this year. This includes a private (parent only) class blog. The blog will include photographs and videos from our classroom and will enable children to have individual electronic portfolios of their work.
