 The Peace Bed

 

 

Our Peace Bed was planted in May 2006. Sixth class and Dromiskin Gardening Club planted it with begonias which spell out the word peace, and Fr. Pat Mc Enroe blessed it. On the day it was launched, pupils and teachers from our twin school in Northern Ireland, Derryhale Primary School, came to visit our school along with the Chairman of Louth County Council, and together we planted a peace tree.
