Parent David Kinahan from Autotech Solutions made sure that Santa arrived to Dromiskin in style on Thursday 22 September. A red beach buggy in December? No bother to David and we must say that Santa looked very happy to take a rest from Rudolph and the rest of the reindeers!!
The children gave Santa a great welcome and because they were so well behaved each child got a lovely treat. He went round all the classrooms and even visited Lena’s Happy Days pre-school where he had another great welcome.
Many thanks to our wonderful Parents’ Committee and of course David for making this hugely popular event possible. It helps make Christmas special.
This was followed by our Christmas Raffle once again organised by our Parents’ Committee. The ticket sellers from 6th class did a wonderful job making this year’s raffle one of the most successful ever. Anne and Megan did the draw and parents, Laureen and Miriam were on hand to dispense the goodies. The children were delighted with their prizes.
