St. Joseph's Minor Team Victory
What a year 2009 was for our local minor football team St. Joseph’s G.F.C. when they were crowned Minor champions of Louth in Gaelic football after defeating hot favourites Geraldines in the final. On the Monday after their great win they took in the cup to St. Peter’s and received a rousing reception from all the pupils. Hopefully these young boys and girls will go on to emulate their sporting heroes from Darver and Dromiskin in the not too distant future.
