Joe Ward visits Dromiskin National School!
What a year 2006 was for our local football team St. Joseph’s G.F.C. when they were crowned Senior champions of Louth in Gaelic football after defeating hot favourites St. Patrick’s from Lordship in the final. On the Monday after their great win they took in the beautiful Joe Ward Cup to St. Peter’s and received a rousing reception from all the pupils. Hopefully these young boys and girls will go on to emulate their sporting heroes from Darver and Dromiskin in the not too distant future.
Well Done to St. Joseph's Senior Football Team who won the Joe Ward Cup on the 8th of October 2006. It was a fantastic match against St. Pats.
