|
Some Facts: 1. Robins are born with no feathers and look a bit disgusting for the first few days. 2. Robins have a sweet tooth- they love to eat cakes and buns! 3. Robins need water for two reasons – to drink and to keep clean. |

Happy Halloween!
In first class we had great fun making a bright bonfire and spooky Halloween cats! We wrote lots of eerie stories too but only read them if you are big and brave!

Our cats can creep around! When you pull on the tail and the legs move!

First class gave their teacher a terrible fright when they arrived in dressed up!
WARNING! ONLY READ THESE STORIES IF YOU ARE BIG AND BRAVE!

Lauren wrote an exciting story about a witch!

Emma’s witch turns out to be friendly!

Anu wrote about a mixed-up ghost!

Rachel’s story is about a woman trying to escape from a goblin!

Books!
We LOVE to read! We are learning about different authors and illustrators too!

We chose our favourite book from the library and illustrated it.

Tommy likes to read factual books that give him information about animals.

Erin loves High School Musical!

Ava picked a book called ‘The Elves and the Shoemaker’.
We also looked at how the story started and why exactly we like that book so much!

‘The Cat in the Hat Comes Back’ by Jordan.

‘Clocks’ by Rebecca.
Our Word Wall
We are practicing the words on our word wall every day so that we recognise them quickly in our reading!

Maths
We are learning about time in Maths. We made clocks to help us to understand it more!

We work so hard at this time every day!
