Congratulations to 6th class and all who took part in the Public Speaking competition this year. Well done to the eight finalists who entertained and informed the whole school on Thursday 23rd June. Ms Boyle was the adjudicator and she had a very difficult job to pick out winners owing to the very high standard this year. Well done to Tadhg, Vanessa and Amy who received lovely prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and especially to Amy who was crowned this year’s champion.
All the finalists received a special certificate from Ms Boyle who thanked the audience and all who took part. Special praise goes to Ms Keane who gave lots of excellent tips on public speaking to all her young students.
