We learned all about solids, liquids and gases.
We talked about water and how it can change from a solid (ice) to a liquid (water) to a gas (steam)
Then we experimented with chocolate.
First we took 2 squares of chocolate and put them in a bag. We decide the chocolate was solid.
Next, we spent two minutes heating or melting the chocolate in our hands. We looked at it and it was a liquid.
After that we put our bags in the freezer for 5 minutes.
When we checked, our chocolate was hard or solid again.
Finally we took some more solid chocolate and watched it melt on our tongues into a delicious liquid.
We learned that with different temperatures a solid or liquid can change.
