Our class did a heat experiment with 4 different containers we used a plastic cup, a ceramic cup, a ceramic cup with a lid and a flask. For the first experiment we put an even amount of ice cubs in each container then we placed a thermometer in with the ice cubs them we waited five minutes. When the time was up we checked the temperatures of each cup Plastic cup=8 degrees Celsius, Ceramic up=10 degrees Celsius, Ceramic cup with lid= 8 Degrees Celsius and the flask= 5 Degrees Celsius. We kept track about every five minutes. After the next day each cup was the same temperate at 19 Degrees Celsius. Then we moved on to the hot experiment. We put an equal amount of hot water in each counter here are the results after 5 minutes. Plastic cup= 85 degrees Celsius , Ceramic cup= 75 degrees Celsius, Ceramic cup with lid= 80 degrees Celsius degrees, Flask= 83 degrees Celsius. The end results after an hour were 1. 28, 2. 28, 3. 32, 4. 34. The best insulator in both tries was the flask (by Sadhbh)
