Teachers, parents, extended families and friends were extremely proud of Ms O Rourke’s 2nd class as they made their First Eucharist in Dromiskin Chapel on Saturday 19 May. What a beautiful day it was both in terms of the weather and the ceremony conducted by Fr Mc Enroe. The readings, psalm, offertory procession, prayers of the faithful, responses and reflection were all first class. Ms Farrell’s choir accompanied by organist Ms Loughran got a deserved ovation after their outstanding performance.
The Parents’ Committee made presentations in the hall afterwards to Ms O Rourke, Ms Farrell, Ms Loughran and Anne to acknowledge all their hard work in making this special day possible. A large crowd enjoyed welcome refreshments again provided by our hard working and dedicated Parents’ Association. Thank you so much.
