The local finals of the National Credit Union Schools’ Quiz took place in Dromiskin on Monday 30 January. There were 22 teams from Darver and Dromiskin schools – 10 teams in the U.11 A Section and 12 teams in the U.13 B Section. Quiz mistress for the night was the excellent Sheila Maguire along with scorekeepers Ciara, Saoirse, Alaoise and Angela.
Winners of the A Section were Darver NS and winners of the B Section was St. Peter’s NS, Dromiskin. Both teams progress to the Chapter finals on Sunday March 5th at 3pm in the Nuremore Hotel, Carrickmacross. A big thank you to Darver Credit Union for providing the wonderful prizes.
